Ruth F. Renninger Obituary

Ruth Fay Renninger, age 93, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Penn State Hampden Hospital.

Born November 16, 1930 in Mifflin, PA the daughter of the late Ross J. Shover and Thersa M. Naylor.

Ruth was a very loving and caring Mother who devoted her entire life to her family. Her favorite family tradition was for the entire family to gather at her house every Saturday night for hamburgers. This was something she treasured. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and bowling in many leagues at Trindle Bowl.

Along with her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Howard B. Renninger and granddaughter, Stacey L. Harmon.

Surviving are three daughters, Sandra Harmon, Pamela Shilling, and Teresa Durham and three sons, Dennis Renninger, Gary Renninger, and Scott Renninger. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
