He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres S. Garcia and Evangelista Garcia (Ortiz); his siblings, Angel Garcia, Albit Garcia and Irais Garcia; and his great grandchild Dakota.

He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Garcia (Mika); his son Ruben Garcia, Jr. (Amanda Hanna); his grandchildren, Ruben, Natasha, Salvatore, Sergio, Aiyana and Shakira; his great grandchildren, Ariana, Rosie, Devon, Chaton, Jaylen, Sage and Maya; and his siblings, Andres Garcia, Jr., Gisbel Garcia, Iris Heisey, Elsie Claudio, Avidail Garcia, Everlidys Garcia and Luz Miriam Rivera. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
