He was predeceased by: his mother June V. Griest. He is survived by: his children, Gary Griest of York and Ellen Patton of Frederick, Maryland; and his grandchildren, Nathan Griest, Sedale Patton and Shamika Patton.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home (3125 Walnut St, Harrisburg, PA 17109). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (6701 Jonestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112).
