He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Pierce and Evelyn Pierce; and his sister Patricia Swartz. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Pierce; his children, Stacy Tarkowski (Ryan) and Robert D. Pierce, Jr. (Amber); his grandchildren, Emma, Alexis, Jacob, Andrew and Angela; and his siblings, Joan Myers and Richard Pierce. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
