He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Sellers and Dora Sellers (Chapman); his wife Margaret; his daughter Constance M. Sellers-Ferrell; his granddaughter Vicci Ferrell; and his siblings, Bessie Brookin, Dolores Sellers and David "Pie" Sellers.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen A. Sellers-Biggers (André); his sister-in-law Thelma L. Watkins-Majette; and his grandchildren, Frankie Ferrell, Stephanie Ferrell and Kyena Dennis. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
