He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce F. Hardy and Margaret E. Hardy (Fronk); his granddaughter Liann Fazenbaker; his stepson Dennis Fissel; his stepgrandson Craig Cullison; and his siblings, John Dupes, Bruce Hardy, Charles Hardy, Shirley Johns, Mary E. Hardy and Gloria Jean Reider.
He is survived by: his wife Betty M. Fissel Hardy (Heffner); his children, Tammy Wilton of Virginia and Todd Hardy of Virginia; his stepchildren, Bonita Cullison (Stephen) of Liverpool and Les Harvey (Bonnie) of Harrisburg; his grandson James Steinmeier, Jr.; and his stepgrandson Adam Cullison.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Swatara Church of God (4860 Lindle Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17111). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Churchville Cemetery.
