She is survived by: her brother Keith Schmidt (Susan) of Raleigh, NC; her nieces, Carissa Ghaffari of Richmond, VA and Alexandra Schmidt of Charlotte, NC.; and her friend Nancy Minnick of Harrisburg, PA.
