He is survived by: his children, Maria Dunston (Oluseye), Zalika Gonzalez, Asja Johnson, Akua Johnson, Surayyah Johnson, Jennifer McFarland (Moses), Tiffany Thomas, Nisaa Borer-Nelson (Jordan), Sadiyyah Johnson, Charlia Jackson, Tiesha "Shariyfah" Jennings, Aneisha Reid, Mattie Pearl "Nandi" Johnson, Michael Johnson, Jr., Jamal Jackson, Ayube Johnson, Kuami Wright and Rashaan Johnson; his brother Rev. Louis Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Kerry, Kera, Angel Johnson, Nisa Kelly, Kyeisha Purnell, Cornelius and Henry Johnson; and his close friend Scott "Fats" Butler. He is also survived by his 18 children; 41 great grandchildren.
