It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Carl Beer of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Beer and Kathryn Beer (Hostetter); and his sister Alice Eckardt. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Beer (Jones); his daughter Lara F. Beer-Caulfield (Shawn) of Mechanicsburg; his sister Judy Librandi (Tom) of Middletown; and his granddaughter Allison Caulfield.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home (3125 Walnut St, Harrisburg, PA 17109). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
