He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Walter and Myrtle Walter (Wetzel); the mother of his children Doris Hess; his wife Judy J. Johnson; and his brother Donald Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Walter (Marian), David Walter, Douglas Walter (Lori) and Linda Wood (Stephen); his grandchildren, Jason, Lauren and Lindsay; and his great grandchildren, Michaela, Santana, Lennox, Harper and Rowan.
