It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Irvin of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas G. Hoffmaster and Ella Hoffmaster (Pancake); her husband Robert C. Irvin; and her siblings, Dot Grubb, Elwood "Buck" Hoffmaster and Robert Hoffmaster.

She is survived by: her daughters, Suzi Prescott (Bill) of Lewisberry and Charlene Mika (Al) of New Cumberland; her grandchildren, Cristi Fromm (Matt), Amy Prescott, Jennifer Cook (Andy) and Kelli McAlister (Craig); her great grandchildren, Kayli, Lexi Fromm, Luke and Coby McAlister; and her sister Etta Light.

“I worked closely w/ Mickey at JCPenney in the “Hbg East Mall” for nearly 10 yrs. Our busy workdays went by fast; we cracked up all day!! Mickey’s late hubby Robert came to the store to visit; he called her,”The Kid”; a nickname that stuck even ‘til now! ! I left JCP Hbg in ‘85 to JCP York; left the co. in ‘93 for a job in the Phila area, but we held a close friendship. In ‘00, I was so happy she was @ my wedding :-) Suzi, Bill & Family- my sympathies are with you. Love, Joni Macchioni-Rockhill”
