Madelyn G. Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madelyn G. Smith of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Flores and Gertrude Flores; her former husbands, John Wickert and John Knerr; her husband Richard Smith; her daughter Nancy Funk; her stepsons, Douglas Smith and Stephen Smith; her stepgrandson Jason Smith; and her brother Carlton Flores.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Sullivan (Thomas) and David Wickert (Shelly); her stepchildren, Stacia Werner and Jeffrey Smith; her grandchildren, Courtney, Jared, Jeffrey, Melissa, Joshua, Joel, Jonah and Adeline; her stepgranddaughters, Hope and Alison; her great grandchildren, Max, Maddy, Adam, Graham, Avery, Aubree and Jameson; and also Carol.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calvary United Methodist Church (4700 Locust Ln, Harrisburg, PA 17112). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
