He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sloan and Rosa Sloan. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Givens; his children, Mateesha Givens, James, Lavar, Matthew and Larry Anthony Givens Jr.; his siblings, Mark Givens and Regina Weedon; his daughters-in-law, Maria Givens and Kaysha Charles; and his goddaughter Jay'Lynn Reynolds. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, along with other family members and friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallace Funeral Directors Inc. (106 Agnes St, Harrisburg, PA 17104). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
