We bid farewell to Janet V. Smith (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 2, 2025 at the age of 87. Janet touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Reigel and Virginia Reigel (Schultz); her husband George "Peaches" W. Smith; her son Garry L. "Butch" Smith; her brothers, Larry and Harry Reigel; and her grandchildren, Kiana and Caleb Hawthorne.
She is survived by: her family Janet; her children, Terry Lowry, Susan Ramsey, Jerry Smith (Debra), Larry Smith (Tracey) and Rodney Smith; and her brother Barry High. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fairmont Community Church (1211 Fairmont Dr, Harrisburg, PA 17112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (6701 Jonestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112).
