It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lamont Hymon Sr. (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaiah Hymon Jr. and Snolia Stampes (Harris). He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Louise Hymon (Weedon); his sisters, Laura Dickey, Nelda Wright, Tracey Prunty, Arlene Holt (Hymon) and Carla Williams (Hymon); his children, Andre Mosley, James L. Hymon Jr. (Stacey), Nicole Brannan and Andrea Folkes; his stepdaughter Kelly Dudley; his grandchildren, Arayna Brown, Jasmine Ward, JoVan Hymon and Marcell Gonzalez; his sisters, Carol Huitt (Hymon), Denise Brown (Hymon) and Marcia Jackson (Hymon); his siblings-in-law, James T. Weedon Jr. and Diane Quartlebaum (Will); and his goddaughter Annette Fleming. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
