She was predeceased by: her parent Baudilio Merced; her husband Victor "Samuel" Cruz; and her siblings, Luis Merced, Francisco "Cico" Merced and Anna Merced.
She is survived by: her parent Dominga Villafañe; her children, Victor "Sammy" Cruz Jr., Ramon "Toby" Cruz, Amparo Cruz and Ines Cruz; and her siblings, Pablo Merced, Felicita Merced, Sarah Merced and Milagros Merced. She is also survived by four grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
