She was predeceased by: her husband Jack E. Porter; her parents, Charles Matuseck and Rose Matuseck (Rush); and her siblings, Alex, Frank, John, Anthony, Mary and Ellen.
She is survived by: her children, Edwin Gibbs (Maryanne) of Oregon, Linda Stoops of Dillsburg and Donna Meehan (Raymond) of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, Samantha, Jennifer, Daniel, Andrew, Anthony, Mariah and Ian; her great grandchildren, Owen, Jacob, Robert, Kenneth, Katie, Morgan, Derek and Haydon; her great great grandchild Kylan; and her niece Deborah Wahl.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent in Helen's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
