He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. Schofield and Ella Anderson Schofield; his sister Norma "Dolly" Larson; and his former wife Gloria Spera Schofield. He is survived by: his children, Matthew S. Schofield (Claudia Himmelreich) of Berlin and Claire S. Mastroberardino (Gabriele) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Cedric (Bethany), Sophia, Genevieve, Broderick Schofield, Luca and Hugo Mastroberardino; his stepgrandson Martin Himmelriech; and his great grandchild Theodore Schofield. He is also survived by two nieces, one nephew, and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.
