She was predeceased by: her father Professor Preston; and her sisters, Mildred Parmer Ruth and Ruth Parmer Umholtz (Russell Sherwood Sweigard). She is survived by: her husband Russell; her daughters, Lynnette Schlegel (Jim) of Halifax and Cindy Tobias (Jay) of Halifax; her grandchildren, Rodney Schlegel (Holly), Tina Murphy (John), Sheri Hatalla (Nathan), Brandi Kinnear (Ryan) and Jenna Tobias (Chris); her great grandchildren, Robin Schlegel, Ryan Schlegel, Gillian Murphy, Russell Murphy, Addision Hatalla, Jack Hatalla, Corey Attivo, Cody Attivo, Conner Tobias, Savannah Tobias and Aliyah Tobias; and her great great grandchildren, Caleb, Skye, Jayden and Alexa.
