With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Benfer (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 26, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Delores Benfer; his children, Linda Stauffer (Charlie) of Harrisburg and James "Jimmy" Benfer of Harrisburg; his stepchildren, Eileen Blackburn (Ken) of Illinois, Susan Sutton of California and David Staiger of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Travis and Ashley Stauffer; his stepgrandchildren, Adrienne, Amy, Melissa and Joey; and his brother Rodney Benfer (Connie).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area Inc., 7790 Grayson Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17111.
