Gay D. Schaffner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gay D. Schaffner of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Lester Anderson and Christine Anderson (Dewald); and her brother Richard Anderson. She is survived by: her husband John Schaffner; her daughters, Krista Krobath (Gilbert) of Harrisburg and Trish Kauffman (Roger) of Harrisburg; her stepchildren, Stacey Schaffner and David Schaffner; her grandchildren, Ryan Kauffman and Kelleigh Krobath; her stepgrandson Jayden Bahr; and her brother Orin Anderson of South Carolina. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hershey Country Club (1000 E Derry Rd, Hershey, PA 17033). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
