It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Geneva Mosby (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), born in Nelson, Virginia, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick C. Hill and Emily V. Christian Hill; her children, Samuel "Colyan" Robinson, III of Harrisburg, PA, Elder Elaine "Tootsie" Kershaw of Steelton, PA. and Dennis "Jackie" Robinson (Thomastine) of Steelton, PA.; her husbands, Samuel Robinson, Jr. and Deacon James A. Mosby, Sr.; her daughter Yvonne Harvey of Harrisburg, PA; her siblings, Mabel V. Gholston, Walter C. Hill, Preston F. Hill and Henry J. Hill, Sr.; and her close friend Etta Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia D. Roberts of Las Vegas, NV, William S. Robinson of Albany, NY, Terry L. Robinson of Steelton, PA., James A. Mosby, Jr. (Lois) of Harrisburg, PA, Theresa Chisholm of Harrisburg, PA, Joyce Spivey of Harrisburg, PA, Carolyn Selvey (Samuel) of Harrisburg, PA, Marilyn "Gail" Hughes (Jairus) of Harrisburg, PA, G. Wayne Mosby (Denise) of Harrisburg, PA, Elwood Miller (Dell) of New Rochelle, NY, Charles Mosby (Carmen) of Mitchellville, MD and Leon Mosby (Dorothy) of Montgomery, AL.. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
