He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Lee Oster; his children, Mackena Oster, Eric Carl, Jr. and Elijah Carl; his parents, Stephen L. Carl and Lynn Marie (Goff); his brother Daniel Carl (Megan); and his grandmother Georgianna "Mam" Goff.
