She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rogester and Lovie Shipley of New Albany, Indiana.; her husband William Martin Buchanan Sr.; her sons, Anthony and George; her grandsons, Brian and Tony; and her siblings, Grace Kavanaugh, Mary Tyler, Georgie Thomas, Alice Shipley, Jannie Rhodes, Paul Rogester, Charles Rogester and Alex Rogester.
She is survived by: her children, William Buchanan Jr. (late Jackie), Larry Buchanan (Roberta), Doris (John) of Washington, Phillip Buchanan (Pamela), Joyce Buchanan and Gloria Buchanan Green (Robert); and her daughter-in-law Sue Buchanan. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and friends.
