She was predeceased by: her father Eugene Carson. She is survived by: her mother Joan Carson (Sahutsky); her husband George Evans; her children, Joshua Evans (Brittany) of New Cumberland, Megan Gierka (Jared) of Harrisburg and Shannon Evans (Jonathan Nebroskie) of Harrisburg; her sisters, Donna Rakus of Ringtown and Gail Krolick of Lake Tahoe; and her grandchildren, Savannah and Benjamin Evans of New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Diane to Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital - Cancer Institute.
