He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Courts Brown; his son David Brown, Jr.; his stepchildren, Gary Courts, Teresa Bass, Monica Courts and Andrea Courts Buide; and his grandchildren, Tara Courts, Santwanne Buide, Andre'Buide, Leroy Bass, Leanna Bass, Dezmon Early, Zion White, Deiontey McHayle and Treyvyon Courts. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
