He is survived by: his wife Judy Hopkins Schaefer; his grandsons, William Conor Lenhardt and Noah Patrick Lenhardt; his sisters, Mary Kennedy (John Kennedy) and Ann Schaefer (Joe Sverchek); his goddaughter Maureen Kennedy (Bill Loring); his great-niece Cailin Kennedy (Bryan Cress); his great-nephew Brian Loring; and also, Matthias and Emmaline.
