It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Ann Slemons of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy T. Swineford and Elizabeth M. Swineford (Benner); and her siblings, Darwin L., John E., Peggy E., Mary L. and Sue Ellen Swineford.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela S. Baer (David) of Harrisburg, Peter A. "Andy" Slemons Jr. (Deb) of Florida and Gerald D. "Jerry" Slemons (Natalie Woods) of Lewistown; her siblings, Roy T. Swineford Jr. (Charlene) of Lewistown, James A. Swineford (Gail) of Lewistown, Vicki Curry (Bud) of Lewistown and Richard C. Swineford (Cheryl) of Lewistown; and her sister-in-law Carol Swineford (late John) of Lewistown. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
