It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Gamble of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carol had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Carol may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles L. Davis and Florence E. Davis (Arter); her siblings, Phyllis M. Davis Martinez Green, Charles Jr. (Chucky) and Richard A.; and her husband Howard Gamble.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Davis (Daneen), Phyllis Corbitt (Nathaniel), Kevin Gamble and Kymmberlii Gamble (Michael McKee); and her daughters-in-law, Bobbie Myers Gamble and Heather Gamble Johnson.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. (3532 Walnut St, Harrisburg, PA 17109). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
