He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Paulus and Arletta Paulus (Zimmerman); his wife Joan; his sons, Robert and Brad; and his brother Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Kristine (Jeff) and Blaine, Jr.; and his siblings, Eugene and Loretta. He is also survived by two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
