He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Karnes and Mary Karnes (Geibe); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Karnes (Iacavone); his daughters, Jessica and Jamie L. Karnes; and his sister Karen.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Four Diamonds Fund c/o Hershey Med.
