As Barbara Juanita departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barbara Juanita. Though Barbara Juanita may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Evans Sr. and Sarah Evans (Hinton). She is survived by: her grandsons, Charles "Chady" Davenport and Darrell Evans Jr.; and her children, Mia Slaughter of Harrisburg, PA, Deena Farrell of Harrisburg, PA, Yvette Evans of Harrisburg, PA, Lawrence Evans of Harrisburg, Keith Evans of Harrisburg, Darrell Evans of Harrisburg and Stephon Bookhart of Mississippi. She is also survived by thirty-three grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wallace Funeral Directors Inc. (106 Agnes St, Harrisburg, PA 17104). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
