He was predeceased by: his father Grady R. Johnston. He is survived by: his children, John W. Johnston (Christle) of California, Chad R. Johnston, Christine M. Hertneky (Brian) of Harmony Twp and Wayne M. Johnston of Evans City; and his siblings, Grady T. Johnston, Clara L. Bradway, Willard M. Johnston, Gossett E. Johnston and Bonnie Carolyn L. Hooper. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
