He was predeceased by: his parents, Max J. Tomayko and Anna Herstek Tomayko; and his brothers, Max, Emil, Melvin and Carl Tomayko.

He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Dancisin Tomayko; his children, Thomas M. Tomayko (Carol), Larry R. Tomayko, Robert D. Tomayko and Ronald S. Tomayko; and his sister Dorothy Kuhn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
