She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dixon Purvis, Jr. and Jean Burchinal Purvis; and her brother Thomas W. Purvis. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Recio, Matthew Recio, Ronald Recio and Jennifer Recio Lebedev; her grandchildren, Alexander Lebedev and Natasha; her brothers, Joseph D. Purvis III, William W. Purvis and Robert D. Purvis; and her former husband Rolando Recio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
