Kniess of Harmony, Pennsylvania, born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude O. Kniess and Lillian Haigh Kniess. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia A. Bloom Kniess; his children, Lucas Kniess of Morningside, Andrew Kniess (Dana) of Leechburg, Kate Satryan (Jason) of St. Augustine, FL and Misty Funnell (Eric) of Palmdale, CA; his grandchildren, Ella Mae, Abby, Levi, Allesandra, Vincent, Aubriana and Madilyn; and his siblings, Claude D. Kniess (Dora) of Evans City, Nancy Nicklas of Carpinteria, CA and Betty Sapienza of Mainsville, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family will honor Ron's memory by planting trees on the family farm.
