He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Barney and Albenia Marchegiano Barney; his son Gary Barney; his siblings, Dominic "Harpo" Marchegiano, Robert "Bobby" Marchegiano, Emidio "Slats" Marchegiano, John Marchegiano, Enrico "Rico" Barney, Joseph Barney, Peter Barney, Susan Brown, Anita Fry, Loretta Cook and Rose Pizzuti; his son-in-law William Packard; and his niece Rose Presutti.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Barney; his daughters, Cynthia Barney of East Liverpool and Susan Packard of Hopewell Township; his grandchildren, Christopher Barney, Paul Barney, Eric White, Jovania White, Matthew Packard (Caroline), Adam Packard (Jackie) and Drew Packard (Crystal); his nieces, Barbara Barney and Renee Burks; and his nephew Michael Barney. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
