He was predeceased by: his wife Grace W. Freed (Landes); his parents, John H. Freed and Lizzie M. Freed (Landis); his siblings, Ralph L. Freed, John L. Freed, Ruth L. Bergman and Naomi L. Freed; and his son-in-law Tony Salvo.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen L. Freed (Robin) of Lansdale, PA, Grace E. Halama (Robert) of Camden Wyoming, DE, Deborah J. Salvo of Collegeville, PA and Rhoda M. Detwiler (Alan) of Harleysville, PA; his grandchildren, Chris, Justin, Kristy, Jesse, Sherry and Jennifer; his stepgrandchildren, Kim, Alan, Jr., Tom and Laurel; and his siblings, Richard L. Freed of Bethlehem, PA, Leroy L. Freed (Amanda) of Barnett, MO, Elizabeth L. Allred (Reginald) of Durham, NC, Dr. Clarence L. Freed (Eddie Martinez) of Allentown, PA, Esther L. Hagg of East Greenville, PA, Marcus L. Freed of London, OH and Miriam L. Hunsberger (Glenn) of Earlington, PA.. He is also survived by his seven step-great-grandchildren.
