He was predeceased by: his brothers, Thomas and James Hawkins; and his stepfather John Greger. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Hawkins (Barbour); his children, Ronald Hawkins of Lansdale, David Hawkins (Tina) of Lansdale, Amy Brandt (Dean) of North Wales and Jill Scheiter (John) of Lansdale; his grandchildren, Haley, Anthony, Jared, Kayla and Allison; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Oliver; his stepgrandsons, Nic, Chris and Joe; and his brothers, Gerald Hawkins (Diane) and Joe Hawkins (Ginny). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
