He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Koffel (Heath); his parents, Perry D. Koffel and Lizzie Koffel (Musselman); his son Jay Koffel (Evelyn) of Pennsburg, PA; and his siblings, Hilda Ziegler, Robert Koffel, Lorraine Ziegler, Herbert "Johnny" Koffel and Gloria Ruth.
He is survived by: his daughter BettyLou Koffel (Philip Moyer) of Portland, OR; and his siblings, Valeria Kramer, Jerry Koffel, Marjorie Landis and Roger Koffel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Delp's Meetinghouse & Burial Ground.
