He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pierce (Bean); his children, Glenn Pierce (Anne) of Weston, FL and Lynn Whitman (David) of Lansdale; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Graham Pierce of Weston, Kara and Jenna Whitman of Lansdale; and his brother Ted Pierce (Virginia) of Williamsburg, VA..
