It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond H. Scherfel Jr. (Harleysville, Pennsylvania), born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond H. Scherfel, Sr. and Alice E. Scherfel (Gross); his sister Edith Yarnall; and his former wife Catherine. He is survived by: his sons, R. Steven and R. David Scherfel; and his stepchildren, William Dickey and Ellen Bredt.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the church above.
