He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman A. Rittenhouse and Ellen Derstine Rittenhouse; his wife Alice C. Rittenhouse (Clemmer); his siblings, John Rittenhouse, Miriam Rittenhouse Ruth, Ruth Rittenhouse Hunsberger, Mary Rittenhouse and Eva Rittenhouse Alderfer; his brothers-in-law, Alpheus Ruth, Stanley Alderfer and Wilmer Hunsberger; and his granddaughter Jessica Anne Rittenhouse.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Eric R. Rittenhouse (Stacy) of Center Valley, PA and Jennifer J. Rittenhouse; his son-in-law Dr. George Seavy of Harleysville, PA; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Miller (Timothy), Olivia Seavy, Everett Seavy, Jacob Rittenhouse and Madison Rittenhouse; his brother James Rittenhouse (Easter) of New Holland, PA; and his sister-in-law Esther Godshall of Souderton, PA.
