He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Buffardi (Dutkiewicz); and his parents, Florindo Buffardi and Philaminia Buffardi (DePolo). He is survived by: his children, Doreen Zielinski (Kenneth), Nicholas Buffardi, Jr. (Gray) and Renee Becker (Douglas); and his sister Marguerite Vermuth. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
