He was predeceased by: his girlfriend Caroline Hogue; his sister Patricia Shields (Vincent); and his aunt Florence Hause (Vincent). He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Herbert (Jeff); his former wife Patricia Pearson (Smith); his grandchildren, Jackie, Matthew and Paula Herbert; his great grandchildren, Owen and Dylan Buss; and his nephew Frank Shields.
