Kathleen Theresa (Eckert) Kates Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Theresa Kates of Harleysville, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her father Floyd Eckert; her former husband Stanley W. Kates, Sr.; her sons, Stanley W. Kates, Jr. and John F. Kates; her brothers, Arthur and Theodore; her grandson Stanley W. Kates, III; her great grandchild Molly; and her granddaughter Stephanie.
She is survived by : her daughters, Kathy Allen (Bob) of Lansdale and Patty (Trish) Simonds (Ron) of Philadelphia; and, her daughter-in-law Donna Kates. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Kay's memory to Peter Becker Community, 800 Maple Ave., Harleysville, PA 19438.
