He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A., Sr. and Emily Viola (Rogan); and his grandson Ryan Joseph Viola. He is survived by: his wife Marie Viola (Reinhardt); his daughters, Annamarie Viola (Michael Cinaglia), Lisa Bogan (Sam) and Linda Bougher (Frank); his grandchildren, Kait Sparks (Jeff), Derick Schmidt (Allie) and Brendan Schmidt; and his great grandchild Adelaide Schmidt.
