He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary; his parents, James Murphy and Agnes Murphy; and his sister Agnes Dole. He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen Murphy and Carol Murphy (Joe); his grandchildren, Christian and Gavin; and his sister Carol Jane Meyers.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martha Church (11031 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154).
