He was predeceased by: his father Charles W. Welsh; and his brother Charles W. Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Yvonne L. Welsh; his girlfriend Kathleen Oertel; and his siblings, Beth Ann Sinotte (Peter) and Paul Welsh (April). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, the Nature Conservancy, or the Audubon Society.
