He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Yerger and Anna Mae Yerger (Kramer); and his sister Betty Yerger. He is survived by: his wife Laurene Yerger (Kratz); his children, Mark Yerger of Harleysville, Scott Yerger (Katie) of Quakertown and Michelle Nasuti (John "J. L.") of Schwenksville; his siblings, Ruth Ann Wilson, Janice Branning, Lois Reim, Barbara Yerger and Harrison Yerger; and his grandchildren, Hannah Yerger, Adam Yerger, Bella Nasuti and Anthony Nasuti.
